At Diesel Off Road, we want you to be confident in your purchase. This policy explains how to return or exchange items purchased from us.
1. Return Window
- Most new, unused items can be returned within 30 days of delivery for a refund or store credit.
- Items must be in original condition and packaging with all accessories, manuals, and hardware.
2. Items Not Eligible for Return
- Installed, mounted, modified, or used parts.
- Electrical and electronic components once connected or installed.
- Custom or special-order items, made-to-order products, and cut-to-length goods.
- Fluids, chemicals, hazardous materials, and opened maintenance products.
- Clearance, closeout, and final sale items.
- Gift cards and downloadable or digital items.
3. Fitment and Compatibility
Fitment is the buyer's responsibility. If our published fitment guide or a written recommendation from our team indicated compatibility and it was incorrect, we will provide a prepaid return label and issue a full refund or replacement.
4. Return Condition Requirements
- Original packaging required. Do not write on the manufacturer box. Place it inside a shipping carton.
- All parts, hardware, and accessories must be included.
- Items showing installation marks, wear, odors, or missing parts may be refused or assessed fees.
5. Restocking Fees
- No fee for new, unopened items returned within the window.
- Up to 15 percent restocking fee for opened but unused items in resalable condition.
- Up to 25 percent if packaging or components are missing or damaged.
6. How to Start a Return
- Email returns@dieseloffroad.com.
- Include your order number, item SKU, reason for return, and clear photos if the item is defective or damaged.
- We will issue an RMA number and instructions. Write the RMA on the outer shipping carton only.
7. Return Shipping
- If the return is due to our error or a confirmed defect within 30 days, we provide a prepaid label.
- For all other returns, you may use our discounted label and have the cost deducted from the refund, or ship with your own insured, trackable carrier.
- Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless we made a mistake.
8. Damaged, Defective, or Missing Items
- Shipping damage must be reported within 5 business days of delivery. Keep all packaging and take photos of the box and item.
- Defective on arrival: contact us within 30 days for a replacement or refund after inspection.
- Missing parts must be reported within 7 days of delivery.
9. Exchanges
Exchanges are processed as a return plus a new order. If you prefer, we can place the replacement order once your return is scanned in by the carrier.
10. Refunds
- Inspection typically takes 2 to 3 business days after the package arrives at our warehouse.
- Refunds post to the original payment method within 3 to 10 business days after approval, depending on your bank.
- Store credit is available if you prefer faster reordering.
11. International Returns
- Duties, taxes, and brokerage fees are non-refundable.
- Mark the package as Returned Merchandise and include the RMA to avoid additional import charges.
12. Warranty Claims
Many products are covered by a manufacturer warranty. We can help facilitate a claim. Warranty decisions and remedies are determined by the manufacturer.
13. Refused or Undeliverable Packages
Refused, unclaimed, or undeliverable shipments are subject to actual shipping charges both ways plus any applicable restocking fees.
